Son Bou <> Cala en Porter

Going by kayak from Son Bou to Cala en Porter gives you an idea of the diversity along Alaior’s coastline. As it is sheltered from the predominant winds, this is a route that is generally easy and only affected by gusts from the south east. On leaving from Son Bou, enjoy the great lagoon of calm water by the shoreline before heading out to sea. After that, you will see soaring cliffs that are as high as 80 metres, which are only broken by the rocky inlets leading into smaller coves.

Once again, waves in this area are only caused by gusts of wind from the south east and south west. Where the first route stands out for the height of the cliffs, this one offers stunning views of caves. It is well worth stopping at Calescoves and also viewing the famous Cova d’en Xoroi from the sea.
