Alaior on foot in all its natural glory
Son Bou <> Sant Tomàs
5.3 km - 1h - Easy
This walking route goes solely along the coast from Son Bou to Sant Tomàs within the district of Alaior. Along the way you can see the most well-preserved dune systems on the island and the second-largest wetland in Menorca. The path is quite easy and flat, but we suggest that you don’t take walk at very hot times of day in the summer months as there is no shade.

Alaior <> Binixems
8.9 km - 2h - Easy
The route from Alaior to Binixems covers various quarries, still mostly in operation and where you can view the extraction of sandstone, the main building stone typically used in Menorca. It is also well worth stopping at the Binixems Hermitage. You can also make out the cliffs Penyes d’Egipte down a lane in the distance.

Cotaina <> Cala en Porter
7.4 km - 1h 45m - Medium
The section from Cotaina to Cala en Porter takes in some of the town district’s most outstanding sites, such as the necropolis at Calescoves. The route starts with pastures for livestock and continues into wild olive Woods. At the end, the Camí de Cavalls and takes you to the beach in Cala en Porter.

Camí de s’Alblagai
8.2 km - 2h - Medium
The lane Camí de s’Alblagai is a good example of a typical rural lane in Menorca. Although you walk on asphalt surfaces, you can enjoy seeing all the traditional features of livestock and farming on the island, with fields hemmed in by the hallmark dry-stone walls. At the end of the lane you reach the talayotic settlement of Torralba d’en Salort. Please check its opening times beforehand if you would like to visit it.

Torre d’en Galmés <> Cala en Porter
6.2 km - 1h 45m - Medium
This section covers stunning historical heritage with cultural, farming and livestock and natural highlights, passing several archaeological monuments such as the Talayotic Settlement of Torre d’en Galmés, the Na Comerma de Sa Garita monument and ethnological features (several wells and water troughs, rustic architecture etc.) of great interest. You will also see the ravine, wetland and beach area of Cala en Porter and other natural farming and tourist areas.
